Life Challenges . . .

I wanted to apologize if anyone had a hard time getting ahold of me this past weekend. My grandfather passed away on Friday, so I packed up my kids and we went out of town for the weekend and didn't get home until last night. This event has caused me to be a little behind on my editing also, so please be patient with me as I am only a couple of days behind, but will try and work overtime to get your images to you. Thanks!

Also, the image on this post has been created for a family whose darling little angel was called back to heaven. I wanted to let those families out there who may be mourning the loss of a child that I would be MORE THAN HAPPY to provide these images for them, all I need is an email with the child's footprints and information (or we can use the ones I have and create specialized images for them). Contact me for further information. This service will be provided free of charge to help these precious families cherish the memories of these little gifts. The 8x10 print will be mailed to you upon completion.

First Workshop Set . . .

So we have our first workshop set up. This workshop is designed to help YOU take better pictures. Maybe you don't want to be a professional photographer but you want to take better pictures of your family and friends. Well this workshop is for you! The cost is only $30 and you will have TWO professional photographers helping you learn the tricks of taking good photos. Anniemations Photography and Marissa Vargason Photography have teamed up. The first workshop is set for September 20th from 9 am to 1 pm. Lunch will be served. We haven't decided on a location yet, it will depend on how many attendees we will have. Let the Journey Begin . . .

I am so excited for this couple to tie the knot! They have waited for so long and I am so happy for them. They have the funnest personalities and good looks to boot! I wish them the best and am honored to be a part of their big day!

Workshop . . .

I have been considering doing a photography workshop, but I can't quite settle on what to focus it on. So I am asking you! Please take a few seconds and answer my poll to see what you would be interested in learning from me! You aren't signing up for anything, I just need some advice. Depending on the response we may get something put together for the end of summer. (I may be teaming up with another talented photog friend of mine).

"The GREYT Event"

I have been invited to photograph "The GREYT Event" on August 8th. This is the first annual benefit dinner and silent auction put on by the Greyhound Rescue and Adoption. It's August 8th, 2008 from 6-9 pm. $100 per person or person/dog couple :) Seating is limited. Prime Rib Buffet and Silent Auction. Social Hour 6-7 pm. Comfort Suites, Ogden UT. Life in the making . . .

Pregnancy should be celebrated right?!?!? Well we celebrated! Here's a few sneak peeks for mom and dad "to be" at a maternity shoot I did.

Beautiful Gift from heaven . . .

Our family was blessed to welcome some new members (via my husband's cousin) into the world on May 19th 2008. The gift of twins came and the little boy and girl entered the world at 29 weeks. Their darling little girl was called back to Heaven that same day. We love you and know that we shall see her again!

Seeing Stripes?

So you'd think we went to zoo or maybe an African Safari? Well . . . . NO . . . we were driving down the road in N.O. and my daughter (who loves horses) was looking at the horses when she yells, hey there's a zebra! I thought she was looney, but . . . there it was grazing in the field with the other horses . . . A zebra! So lucky me, I had just done a photo session so I had my camera with me so I pulled over and took some pics! Crazy! Who'd of thunk it eh!?!?!?

Beautiful Bride . . .

So I wait a little while to post the bridals (until after the wedding) to keep things a surprise, but isn't this a GORGEOUS Bride. She is such a sweetie and I REALLY enjoyed working with her, her groom and her darling mother. Thanks you guys it was sure fun!

Available Weddings for the Year . . .

Due to the birth of my third little princess I am going to be limiting my weddings this year. I am booked until September. I have available: two in September, one in October, one in November and two in December. This way I can really cater to the bride and groom without leaving my family lost in the mix. Therefore, please contact me early to reserve these remaining spots.
